Desde un punto de vista estético, podemos decir que algunas características le acercan a otros modelos de la marca, como el Chevrolet Cruze y el Chevrolet Spark, compartiendo un frente bastante similar con el primero aunque con ángulos un tanto más suaves y mayor volumen total.
Como ya todos conocen, las principales ventajas de un coche como este son su economía de funcionamiento y el benéfico aporte que realiza para con el medioambiente, ya que (funcionando exclusivamente con el motor eléctrico) carece en absoluto de emisiones contaminantes. Se alimenta a partir de una batería con autonomía para 64 kilómetros, en cuyo auxilio aparece un motor a gasolina utilizado para cargar el eléctrico y la batería.
La batería eléctrica se carga en aproximadamente tres horas utilizando un enchufe 240V y puede desarrollar una potencia de 150 CV (160 km/h velocidad máxima). El motor a gasolina se puede alimentar tanto con gasolina típica como con la mezcla de etanol y gasolina E85 (85%/15% respectivamente). En Estados Unidos, su costo rondaría los U$D 41 mil.
