Lotus Evora Carbon Concept
Lotus viene aprovechando en forma destacable su incursión en Ginebra, con múltiples presentaciones de buena calidad y diseños muy sutiles. La última de ellas fue el Lotus Evora Carbon Concept, que como su nombre mismo revela, tiene en la fibra de carbono su elemento constitutivo principal.
Con este nuevo Evora, Lotus ha llevado la serie algo más lejos, trabajando de forma notablemente elementos como el difusor trasero, el techo y un splitter delantero muy interesante. También las llantas han recibido un cambio notable, mostrando 19" Y corte diamante para mayor deportividad.
Por otra parte, la sección interior se diferencia claramente de los modelos anteriores a partir de varias mejoras en la consola, los tapizados, paneles de la puerta y el salpicadero. En cuanto a la mecánica, los cambios son prácticamente inexistentes, destacando únicamente los milímetros rebajados a la suspensión.
De todas maneras, desde Inglaterra la firma no se ha comprometido a producir este modelo en masa. El objetivo era hacer una suerte de "demostración" de las características tradicionales de Lotus, asociada a los modelos de competencia deportiva y el estilo vanguardista. Además, este coche es fabricado con materias primas poco habituales, lo que le hace inadaptable a una producción masiva.
