Mazda BT-50
Sydney (Australia) y su Salón del Automóvil fue el marco elegido por la firma japonesa Mazda para presentar un nuevo modelo de pick-up basado en el formato de la Ford Ranger y reformado para incorporar algunos detalles que le dan un curioso aspecto deportivo, poco habitual en este tipo de vehículos. Veamos qué tiene para ofrecernos la nueva Mazda BT-50.
Cabe destacar que es la primera vez que Mazda se decide a develar el aspecto final del Mazda BT-50, por lo que vinimos a descubrir muchas de sus características en esta presentación. Lo más llamativo, por lejos, es el plano estético, donde se aleja notablemente del típico utilitario todoterreno para brindar una actitud de coche deportivo notable, que también veremos reflejada en el habitáculo interior.
Tan solo echando un vistazo a los mandos de la Mazda BT-50 quedan claras las intenciones de sus creadores: espacios amplios tanto para conductor y copiloto como para los acompañantes, detalles metálicos, controles de aspecto futurista, volante deportivo cuasi-deportivo y una palanca de cambios en la misma línea. Coherente con la propuesta.
Los motores también son un punto interesante que, si bien no destaca por una variedad inmensa, presenta tres opciones (dos diesel, una a gasolina) de buena calidad: motor diesel TDCi 2.2 litros (148 CV), motor diesel TDCi 3.2 litros (197 CV) y motor a gasolina 2.5 litros (164 CV).
